I’m doing a giveaway! It’s my first one, so I’m restricting it to people on U.S. soil. Sorry to everyone else, but I’ll get to you once I have worked out the kinks.
Here’s the deal: I mentioned a whole lot of books during this past Black history Month, and I want to pass on a little bit of that greatness to my readers. In one post, I mentioned some of the books that I’ve been reading with my book club, while in another, I gave a rundown of what I was going to be reading throughout the month of February. Now that Black History Month is almost over, I wanted to spread the wealth.
In return for being such great readers, I’m giving away my copy of these two books:
- Melissa Harris Perry’s Sister Citizen
- Angela Y. Davis’ The Meaning of Freedom’ and other difficult dialogues
They’re my personal copies, so you’ll have to deal with any annotations, unfortunately. There aren’t that many highlights, so I like to think of them as additional seasoning. In addition to getting one of these books, the winner will also get one of my favorite loose leaf tea blends! I’m giving y’all something to read, and something to drink while you read! Get excited!
To enter this giveaway, you’ll have to enter on the Rafflecopter site for each book. Feel free to enter both giveaways, but you can only win one. Entering is simple! Just make sure you follow the blog, Twitter, and Instagram. Each follow is an entry. Bonus points if you tweet that you’ve entered!
Everyone will find out who wins when I post the information on the blog. Winners, however, will be notified personally via email or smoke signal. At this point, you have 48 hours to let me know where I can ship your winnings, before I choose someone else. I promise your info will only be used for this giveaway– it will self destruct the moment I hand it over to FedEx.
If you have any questions about the giveaway, let me know in the comments, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Bonne chance, everyone!
