January 2016 Recap

January was somewhat underwhelming, book wise. I read some great stuff, but my job hunt and family vacation got in the way of completing more reviews. I’ll be playing a catch-up as we head into February.

As for challenges, I’ve done pretty well on the TBR Triple Dog Dare, which tests people to read only their own books, in lieu of purchasing new ones. The only book I purchased in January was Dreams From My Father, by Barack Obama, which was our book club’s choice.

Screen Shot 2016-01-31 at 11.22.09 PM3 Teas I’ve been obsessed with this month:

  • Good ole fashioned Ginger. Drink it with honey and a small amount of cayenne pepper, and I promise you’ll love it even more.
  • Sweet Asian Pear White Tea, from Teavana. Learn from my mistakes, and avoid burning these tea leaves. You’ll live to regret it!
  • Youthberry® Wild Orange Blossom Tea Blend, by Teavana.

Ooh! I love tea! I’m loving simple green tea with a spoonful of sugar and honey right now. I literally drink like 10 glasses a day. 😀

  2. Oo! Teavana tea is AMAZING! (but so expensive 😦 ) I have some that sits in the back of my cupboard from some time ago. *it’s hiding from me* >.> But I love it! Very sweet and full of flavor!

  3. Can’t wait to try a little cayenne in my ginger tea. Never tried that before but sounds yummy. So do your book recommendations. So glad to meet you here in the WordPress world.
